RENTAL & PICKUP INFORMATION

Client/driver requirements

Renter (contract signer) must be at least 21 years of age and in pocession of a valid identification (drivers licence & passport).
Additional drivers must be present at pick up of the vehicle and sign the rental agreement. They must also be over 21 and have all the necessary documentation and be listed on the rental agreement. There is no charge for additional drivers.
A major credit card (not atm/debit card) with available credit is required for the security deposit ($1000.00) with all charges paid at the counter. The credit card must be issued to the signer or co-signer of the contract.

Whats in the 'Gold All Inclusive' Package

Unlimited Mileage. No charge for additional mileage.
SLI Insurance. Supplementary Liability Insurance covers you against 3rd party insurance (see Insurance page)
Personal Kits: A personal kit for each person including sheets, blankets, pillow, pillow case, cutlery, plates and cups.
Vehicle Kit: A kit for your vehicle includes pots, pans, cooking utensils, can opener, corkscrew, bucket, mop, broom.
Unlimted generator use: Your vehicle will be equiped with a generator for use when not 'hooked up' at a campground to mains power. This allows the 110 volt plug sockets and roof mounted air conditioner to be used.

Standard transfers are available between a selection of hotels at the following cities:- New York, Orlando, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Bellingham and San Francisco.
Transfers to/from rental stations at times may be subject to restrictions or limitations beyond El Monte RV’s control and clients may be required to self transfer.
Transfers are not provided at Atlanta, Washington DC, Boston, San Diego, Phoenix, Miami, Albuquerque, Denver, Salt Lake City.
Transfers between Bellingham and selected hotels in Vancouver are available (please check with your travel provider). (border tax not included). No transfers are provided from or to Seattle.

Pick-up

The standard take over time for our vehicles is after 1pm subject to vehicle readiness. The latest take over time is 1 hour before stations official closing time. You must call the depot before arriving.
PAD (Priority AM Departure) El Monte RV has an additional facility at certain locations (Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and Orlando) whereby customer can arrange a priority am departure for an additional charge (please check with your travel provider) – This allows the vehicle to be picked up before midday. For full information please contact your travel provider. This must be booked at least 14 days prior to pick up date.

Return Time

Vehicles must be returned between 8am-11am on agreed date. There will be a minimum penalty of $50 per hour for late returns.
Transfered are provided to hotels on pick up list and airport terminals (excludes JFK and La Guardia in New York). These transfers run at limited times and no guarantee of timescale can be confirmed.

Times of Operation

The following El Monte RV locations are open 7 days a week
Monday – Saturday 8am-5pm and Sundays 8am-4pm
Los Angeles - San Francisco - Orlando - Las Vegas
The following El Monte RV Locations are open 6 days a week
Monday – Saturday 8am-5pm (Bellingham opens at 9AM)
Dallas – New York – Bellingham
(some locations reduce operation times during the off season, which will be advised to you when we provide your travel documents.)
The following locations are open 5 days a week.
Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Albuquerque – Atlanta – Washington – Denver – Miami – Salt Lake City - Phoenix - San Diego
All stations are also closed on key national holidays.
